Why This Role Matters
This role sits at the heart of how ecoplanet wins and grows. As a Value Engineer Procurement, you are not a back-office function. You are a core driver of our commercial success. You go into customer meetings alongside our sales team, bring deep procurement expertise to the table, and turn complex energy topics into compelling, tangible value for our clients. Without you, we close fewer deals, miss upsell opportunities, and leave customer value on the table.
You enable ARR growth in both New Business and Upsell and you are the critical interface between Product and Commercial, ensuring that customer reality shapes what we build.
What You’ll Achieve
Within your first 6 to 12 months, you will:
- Be present in customer-facing meetings as the go-to procurement expert, advising clients directly, building trust, and closing complex deals alongside Account Executives and Customer Success Managers
- Drive significant ARR closings and upsell expansions through hands-on pre-sales support in New Business and Upsell scenarios
- Design and deliver tailored procurement solutions for each customer's specific situation
- Establish strong feedback loops between our customers and the Product and Commercial teams, actively shaping our offerings
- Educate and elevate internal teams on procurement topics and best practices
