Why This Role Matters
This role is where deep regulatory domain expertise meets modern digital scale. As our Energy Regulatory Expert, you are a crucial driver of financial optimizations for our industrial clients.
You don't just "process" applications; you own the logic of how we identify and capture value. You are responsible for ensuring our clients benefit from every available subsidy and regulatory relief. While you manage the cases, your real mission is to codify your expertise our AI software. You will work closely with our Product & Engineering teams to translate complex regulatory frameworks into scalable, data-driven logic, ensuring that ecoplanet can identify untapped savings at a speed.
What You’ll Achieve
Within your first 6 to 12 months, you will:
- Operational Excellence: Identification and legally compliant application for electricity and gas cost relief (e.g., electricity and gas tax refunds, individual grid charges, BesAR, SPK/BECV) as well as investment subsidies (insb. BAFA Modul 3)
- Strategic Roadmap: Act as the internal "Source of Truth," identifying how shifting regulations (EnEfG, CSRD, etc.) create new value-capture opportunities for our portfolio.
- Intelligence Scalability: Collaborate with Product teams to transform subsidy management into an advanced tech-enabled methodology
- Authority Management: Navigate the complexities of German energy authorities with precision, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for our clients.
