Why This Role Matters
This is NOT a traditional marketing role. You're the systems brain behind our marketing function. While the Growth Manager runs campaigns and events, you make sure everything works — data flows cleanly, automations run reliably, dashboards tell the truth, and no lead falls through the cracks.
You'll own the marketing tech stack, build the reporting infrastructure, and make sure every lead gets captured, scored, and routed correctly. If marketing is the engine, you're the engineer who keeps it running.

What You’ll Achieve
Own CRM & marketing automation (HubSpot)
- Build and maintain lead scoring, routing, lifecycle stages, and deal pipeline hygiene
- Create and optimize marketing automation workflows (nurture sequences, event follow-ups, lead handoffs to SDR/AE)
- Ensure data quality across contacts, companies, and deals — deduplication, enrichment, property standardization
Build marketing analytics & reporting
- Build dashboards that show what's working: campaign attribution, funnel conversion, channel ROI
- Set up and maintain tracking (UTM structure, PostHog events, Google Analytics, ad platform pixels)
- Deliver weekly marketing performance snapshots to the team
Manage the toolstack
- Own the marketing tech stack: HubSpot, Webflow, WebinarGeek, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Leadfeeder, N8N
- Manage integrations between tools — ensure clean data flow from ad platforms → CRM → dashboards
- Evaluate new tools, manage vendor relationships, handle onboarding/offboarding
Automate & improve processes
- Identify manual processes and automate them (N8N, HubSpot workflows, scripts)
- Document marketing operations processes so the team can self-serve
- Support the SDR team with list building, segmentation, and outbound tooling
What Sets You Up for Success
Must-haves
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or a similar systems-focused role in a B2B/SaaS environment — hands-on depth matters more than years on paper
- Strong hands-on HubSpot experience (Marketing Hub + CRM) — not just "used it", but built workflows, properties, reports
- Comfort with data — you can build a pivot table, write a basic SQL query, or set up a dashboard without hand-holding
- Experience with at least one automation tool (N8N, Zapier, Make, or similar)
- Structured thinking — you see systems, not just tasks
- German C1+ (near-native proficiency required — you'll write customer-facing copy and work with German-speaking stakeholders daily), English working proficiency
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Webflow, Google Ads, or LinkedIn Ads from the operations side (tracking, pixels, UTM management)
- Basic Python or scripting skills
- Familiarity with PostHog, Google Tag Manager, or Looker Studio
- Understanding of B2B sales funnels and SaaS metrics (MQL, SQL, pipeline velocity)
